BILLY WEATHERS "B.WELL" (MUSICIAN)
1.) Tell us about yourself and your childhood?
My name is Billy Weathers and I was born at the Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, IA. on May 31, 1991. When I was 13 my family and I moved to Las Vegas until summer the summer of 2009. I then attended Simpson College and graduated in 2013 with a degree in Marketing.
2.) Tell us about a challenging time in your life and what lessons you learned from it?
The first years out of college offered a lot of time to shape my reality. I had to discipline myself and create a dream from the life I had been living. A lot of people fall into the cycle of hopping from job to job looking for fulfillment (which I also did.. lol) but was able to channel my energy towards music and started seeing more results the more effort I dedicated.

3.) What motivates you to follow and pursue your passion?
We live in a negative time. It’s easy to get swallowed up in nonsense, bigotry, and hatred. People speak as if their words have no consequences or damaging effects. I want to offer an outlet of expression. Admit my faults and share with the world that I’m no better or worse than any other being walking around. I try my best and encourage leadership and self-respect for each person I interact with. My mother is also a huge factor behind my drive along with my Father.
4.) What advice would you give to the new up and coming artist?
Make sure to ask yourself how bad you really want it? And are you obsessed with the process of being great, it is easy to love the results, we all do. The hard and tricky task inconsistency. If you’re able to train your mind, you shape your reality.
5.) What is the best advice would you give to your younger self?
"Stop being selfish, stop chasing women,
and get focused on your goals."
6.) Have you or how do you do you contribute to the community?
My team and I have dedicated proceeds/earnings from our shows to help directly with Jackson and Capital View Elementary schools here in the metro area. We’ve been lucky enough to attend and perform at numerous assemblies for Jackson, and I was the leader of a boys group for early mornings at Capital View. We have also hosted a Friendsgiving this year with each item of food (entry to the event) collected will be donated to the schools.
7.) Who do you look up to besides your parents?
I admire success, like a lot of people. Also a fan of people who are able to give their life and overall energy to the betterment of others less fortunate. It’s easy to sit in comfortability of privilege, I did for a long time, and saw firsthand what shallow endeavors can produce. I like good people, and attempt to offer compassion and understanding.

8.) What are your goals for the next 5 years?
-Put my mother on the coast of a beach (her choice.)
-Do what I love each day with the people I love.
-Sell out Wells Fargo Arena.
-Create jobs for my brothers and best friends.
-Make sure my lady doesn’t have to worry, and her family always taken care of.
-Tour the world and share my light with anybody willing to share theirs with me.
