1.) Tell us about yourself and your childhood?
My name is Daniel Luckett also known as Entre' Luche' and I am originally from Iowa City, IA. I moved to Des Moines back in 2005 and I’ve been living here ever since. I started singing in our churches children’s choir and I used to sing in a singing group called Iowa Kids. We used to sing Country, Rock & Roll, and Disney songs.
2.) Tell us about a challenging time in your life and what lessons you learned from it?
I think the most challenging time in my life was when my 12-year-old niece passed away the day before finals started. I had visited her the week prior to, and she was in a medically induced coma. I sang to her and prayed she would be okay and she wasn’t. All that life to live, and so much promise, it just hurt me to see someone so young go. It still hurts because I loved her so much. She reminded me of me, so a part of me died that day for sure.
3.) What motivates you to follow and pursue your passion?
I always say, "When I had nothing, music had me". Music has saved my life so many times. It’s been my outlet for every negative I’ve experienced in the world. It also has brought me so many happy times. I just want to be a voice that is repayable to people. Someone who writes about real life struggles and relationships. Because if I can save someone through my music I wanna be able to do that.
4.) What advice would you give to the new up and coming artist?
Always be a student of the game, learn the music business and always stay true to who you are. That’s what will get you respect and keep you out of bad situations/business.
5.) Have you or how do you do you contribute to the community?
I used to mentor elementary and freshman school kids. I also worked at an in-home daycare for 2 years. I believe that we must educate the youth and empower them. I want to empower every kid to follow their dreams. Especially all the black boys and girls in the world. They are Kings and Queens so never let the world belittle you into thinking you are anything less than that.
6.) Who do you look up to besides your parents?
I would say I looked up to granddad, Daniel Luckett. He has been so monumental in my life being there for me every step of the way. He helped my mom through some hard times in life so I will forever be grateful for the man I’m named after.
7.) What are your goals for the next 5 years?
My goals for the next 5 years are; To perform at Wells Fargo arena, To win a Grammy Award, and to act in a Netflix original movie.
"ALWAYS REMAIN HUMBLE."
I found out about Made4Mankind Clothing through My friends, Ty J and Miranda. Ty J, a fellow artist put there name in one of his songs and he told me about the kind of people they are and how they are, like his family. Miranda the same day showed me that they put her on their Social media for buying one of their shirts so I decided to go down there and check it out myself.
